Bjurfors Beyond proudly presents the supposedly most unique mountain home in all of Sweden, in the midst of Ullådalens beautiful nature close to Åreskutan and with an overview of Mullfjället. Ever since 1946 this classical mountain house has been a beloved meeting place. It is located in a secluded spot in the midst of Ullådalen. This place is unique in the real sense of the word – it has a free, clear and breathtakingly beautiful view in all directions. In these modern times family and friends will arrive to experience a ski holiday via snow scooter or helicopter. The house is completely renovated and the two chalets/cottages can easily fit 20 people who wish to enjoy cross-country and alpine skiing, or hunting, mountain hiking and wildlife all the year round. At the end of the day everyone can gather in front of the fireplace in the main building’s magnificent entertainment room. The sauna is large enough for everyone to fit into as well, even though some people may choose not to dive into Tväråfallet’s ice cold water just outside the sauna.
The house – which bears a clear resemblance to an international lodge – is situated in a lofty and free location, at the base of Åreskutan and showing a spectacular view of Mullfjället. This house offers extraordinary accommodation – it has a strong and typically traditional atmosphere which is combined with five star comfort and modern technology. It is equipped with everything from geothermal heating to a lighting system from Plejd. The extensive renovations throughout the years encompass a new HTH kitchen, an extension of the upper level, new floors, a new roof, a new facade, three neat bathrooms with soft and comfortable soapstone and four new bedrooms. Natural wood panelling with a variation of new finishes are to be seen on the upper level. A lot of the renovations were done as recently as 2021.
The estate is to be sold furnished and fully equipped, with the exception of a few hunting and interior details plus some personal belongings. The owners can park their cars in Ullådalen. The distance to Tväråstugan is thereafter 1,5 km, which – depending on the season – can be covered by snow scooters, snow cats, helicopters or on skis.
In the vicinity there are several cross-country ski trails which will take you into the wilderness and up to the bare mountain to actively rest and get some well-deserved recreation. If you would rather do some alpine skiing you can take the snow scooter to the lifts at Ullådalen or Tväråvalvet and then glide all the way home from Stendalen on your skis later that day.
ENTRY LEVEL
The beautiful old house receives its visitors with a large entrance hall, which has a good space for undressing from outer winter clothing and equipment. The floors are made of solid wood, unpainted wooden glass doors and the windows are typical for that time period, giving the house a traditional interior look. In the hall there is also a new, neat bathroom which is tiled. It has a shower, a basin and a toilet. When you carry on further into the house you reach the vast kitchen, which is in line with the dining space. The stylish interior design comes from HTH. The kitchen is fully equipped with large workspaces, two cooling boxes, a deep freeze, a wine cooler, a stove, double dish washers, a convection oven, a combi oven and a kitchen fan. In the entertainment area the atmosphere is palpable when the birch wood crackles in the fireplace. There are lounge suites here, dining sets and couches. On the sunny south east side there is a large wooden terrace with a hot tub, where the hot water steams in the star filled night.
UPPER LEVEL
The upper level of the house was added on as recently as 2021. Four new bedrooms were built here as well as two more tiled bathrooms, showers, basins and toilets. One of the bathrooms is en suite in the largest bedroom. This storey also contains a large storage room.
CHALETS/COTTAGES
The two chalets/cottages are classical in style and are more or less equal in size. They are both two storey houses and each have bed space for 6 – 7 people. These buildings have fireplaces and modern radiators from LVI Yali Digital.
SAUNA
The traditional sauna has large areas where people can wait while the sauna heats up, and then relax there in between the sauna sittings. The sauna is very big and will fit all sleep-over guests. The view from here is especially stunning because it shows the waterfall where whoever wants to can cool off after a sauna session. The sauna also has a shower room and outside there is a hot tub which is heated with firewood.
SHOWER BUILDING
Between the house and the chalets/cottages there is a building which contains a shower, a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a tool shed.
